In a high school rife with corruption under the hand of a dictatorial student council president, a student from one of the unknown corners of the school rises to the occasion and runs as the fresh new candidate in the student election. But politics is a tricky game, and there are more forces at work than the students themselves...

In essence, this film is an audiovisual work. However, sound plays the leading role here to some extent, anticipating generating of images. At the same time, the film is also a play of imagination provoked by the sound. The noises seeping into the protagonist's flat are subject to his individual interpretation, offering random images which interact with each other.

Kiyosumi is a live in manger of an apartment building. He spends most of his time composing & playing music in his apartment. He doesn’t relate well with people and his life is simple. One day, Ushio who lives upstairs from him, greets him. She tells him that she broke up with her boyfriend and she listens to his music every day. Ushio then posts online a video of Kiyoshumi playing his music. Since then, Kiyosumi faces a big change in his life.

Director Yûsaku Matsumoto was inspired by the Akihabira killing to look at random acts of violence occurring in Japanese society and exploring the aftermath of one such occurrence, and the building-up to another one. Due to that, Keita Izumi, Jun Tanabe and Shinichiro Moriya happen to kill Mutsuo Komisaka. They decide to hide Mutsuo Komisaka’s murder to protect the future of the island and their families. It turns out Mutsuo Komisaka was a psycho killer. Police officers come to Shishikari Island to catch Mutsuo Komisaka.

CRADLE ON MY NOISE L*I*V*E -LIVE INSOMNIA VIDEO EDITION is Onitsuka Chihiro's first live DVD, and consists mostly of songs from her Insomnia era. Both versions of "Gekkou" sung were close to the album version arrangements, with the difference being that the first time singing the song she started acapella. It was shot at SHIBUYA-AX on April 28, 2001.
