The story of how a group of unremarkable bungalows in Nashville Tennessee became the heart of the country music industry, and led to the city's title as Music City USA. The documentary focuses on the rise of the Grand Ole Opry and the subsequent opening of recording studios in the downtown area while reflecting on what this legendary Nashville street means today in the changing music business.

The Grand Ole Opry House and the Tennessee Performing Arts Center are the settings for this star-studded anthology of performances drawn from a number of musical specials and awards shows. Featuring a who's who of country music, This disc includes the episode "The Best of Nashville Salutes America."

Captured in February 2021 at their Nashville studios, the Mavericks perform a vibrant set of country, Tex-Mex, soul, rock ’n’ roll and Latin music that includes songs from “En Español,” ‘Play the Hits,” and more. The film also features interviews with the Fantastic Five sidemen.

It premiered at the 42nd Nashville Film Festival on April 14, 2011 and received the festival's "Ground Zero Tennessee Spirit Award for Best Short Documentary Film". The film was narrated by Billy Bob Thornton and directed by Zac Adams.
