I remember her being one of the best things in the 5th element. Joan of Arc was also very good.
What happened?

Watch TFE again. Her performance was kinetic and vibrant, but I don't think she was that exceptional as an actress. She's never had much range, but she has a "look" that works for many of the films she's been in.

Maybe you're right. I watch TFE annually at least, still one of my favorites. Gary Oldman rules that flick though.
