Discuss Richard Simmons

No one seems to know. It's strange he would shrug the spotlight unless he is seriously ill.

He wouldn't be the first to quit acting.

He's not an actor. He's a fitness guru that closed his Slimmon's Fitness gyms and hasn't been seen since.

Gotcha, well he's almost 70 so maybe he's just chilling.

I think he may be ill and just doesn't want to be bothered worrying about being seen. I remember seeing him in an interview and he said that he was vain - so I can't imagine that aging was welcomed. I certainly hope that no one is keeping him hidden against his wishes.

It might be that he stays goofed up on pain meds a lot. He said before that he had knee surgery on one knee and they wanted him to have it on the other knee, but he refused saying it was too painful.

I believe that's what they said about Prince too: Bad knees and too many pain pills, except Prince was still making public appearances right up until the end.

'In hiding?'

I thought he was out of the closet?
