My first reaction when reading the news was, "Holy sh*t!" Hard to believe that he died at only sixty-one due to complications from surgery. He was such a reliable presence in movies and a joy to watch in Aliens, Near Dark, True Lies, Weird Science, and many others. Ugh, I really liked him.

Interesting character, some very memorable and funny lines. Had a great run on "Big Love" and for me most recently on Agents of SHIELD.

Absolutely gutted. This is one of those celebrity deaths where I'm in complete shock. I was only watching Training Day because he was in it. He makes everything he's in that bit better.

Sad to read that he had passed. Remembering Twister and Titanic (and other Cameron movies). Also as that sleazy character he played in True Lies was hillarious. Very memorable character. Godspeed Mr. Paxton.
