“Upin & Ipin” is a 3D animated series produced by Les’ Copaque Production Sdn. Bhd. and is currently one of the most popular animated series in Malaysia receiving excellent reviews and steadfastly averaging around 800, 000 viewers per episode. The series is actually a spin-off of the company’s debut feature film “Geng: Pengembaraan Bermula”.

The series centres on a pair of 5-year-old twin boys, the titular Upin and Ipin, who tell stories of their everyday lives through fun and amusing actions with their friends while also learning new things during their day to day activities. Like every other children, Upin and Ipin are very mischievous and often find themselves getting into trouble, most of the time with their teenage sister Ros.

Gol & Gincu (English: Goalpost and Lipsticks) was a 2006 Malaysian TV series spun off from the 2005 film of the same title by Bernard Chauly, continuing upon the affairs of the all-female futsal team "Bukan Team Biasa" (Malay: "Not an Ordinary Team"). Its first season was first aired from 4 June till 27 August 2006 on 8TV and while its second and final season ran from 8 July to 30 September 2007. The first season of the series was also aired in Singapore on Suria from 26 December 2006 till 20 March 2007.

The Spirits of Love or Love is a Taiwanese Hokkien television drama that aired on Formosa TV in Taiwan from 28 November 2006 to 21 May 2008.

It stars Chen Meifeng, Wang Shixian, Daisy Fong, Chiang Tsu-ping, Jimmy Ni, and June Tsai. The show has five theme songs including Wu Bai & China Blue's 1995 hit "Love You Ten Thousand Years".

The show aired in Taiwan every weeknight at prime time and had a total of 386 episodes. It subsequently aired in Malaysia on the Hokkien-language Astro Hua Hee Dai channel from 3.30pm - 4.30pm and an encore at 11.00pm - 12.00am. It started its run on 5 November 2007 and ended its run on 19 October 2010.

Ghost is a Malaysian supernatural mystery thriller television drama series produced by Popiah Pictures. The first season of ten episodes starred Nazrudin Rahman, Cheryl Samad, Carmen Soo, Reefa and Razif Hashim, and aired on 8TV beginning 3 February 2008. The second season of thirteen episodes began airing on 19 April 2009 and stars Cheryl Samad, Anding Indrawani, Isma Hanum, Colin Kirton and Melissa Campbell.

A high-achieving 11-year-old student embarks on a journey of self-discovery at a school on a nearby island as he grapples with tensions at home.

One in a Million is a Malaysian reality-competition show. It is the first reality singing competition to offer a RM 1 million prize to the winner. The show began airing on 8TV, a terrestrial television station in Malaysia, on May 26, 2006.

One in a Million seeks to discover the best young singer in the country through several auditions held nationwide. The objective of awarding a large amount of prize money is to provide the winner with quality production and marketing resources. In the later stages of the competition the progress of the contestants is determined by public voting by phone or text messaging. This is also the first reality singing competition that allows viewers to vote in as well as vote out the contestants.

The show features two judges who critique the contestants' performances in order to facilitate the voting: former singer and music lecturer Syafinaz Selamat and brand manager for 8TV, Paul Moss. The show is hosted by Awal Ashaari and Marion Caunter.

What Women Want is a Malaysian reality television programme co-produced by 8TV and phoSumpro!, sponsored by Gillette and Head & Shoulders and broadcast on 8TV from 14 December 2006 till 1 March 2007. Hosted by Hannah Tan, it featured 13 young bachelors from within and outside Malaysia vying for the "What Women Want" title and the frills which come with it.

Please Give Me a Job! is a Malaysian reality television programme produced by Red Communications and 8TV which features 10 fresh graduates vying for job placements in various companies. In each episode, the contestants compete in groups and take on various tasks. Created by Ahmad Izham Omar in cooperation with SEGi university college, it is hosted by Azah Yasmin. Datuk Clement Hii as the CEO of SEGi Education Group also plays a role in the show as mentor to the contestants, who appears in the beginning of each episode to give a short briefing to them in which he gives words of wisdom.

So You Think You Can Dance is a dance reality show and competition aired on 8TV. Based closely on the original U.S. show by the same name, the series premiered on April 5, 2007.

The show was created by Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe. The Malaysian entry in the So You Think You Can Dance franchise lasted two seasons and ended in 2008 after crowning champions Muhammad Haslam Abdul Rahman Rubaee, and Cecilia Yong Li Shi.

The Ultimate Prom Nite is a Malaysian reality television series produced and broadcast by 8TV in collaboration with cosmetics brand Nivea. As the "inter-college prom event", it aims to seek for the "Ultimate Prom King and Queen" among male and female students, respectively, of various higher learning institutions throughout the country.

The first season aired on 1 December 2007 on 8TV as a one-off broadcast which aired the Grand Finale live from SEGi College, Kota Damansara at 11pm. The second season airs in late 2008 in a series.

The 8TV Quickie is a 15-minute and 1 minute variety show that airs every night at 9.30pm, 10.30pm and 11.30pm, on 8TV.

The current hosts are Brandon, Nadia Nash, Jun Yong, Ryan Matjeraie, Megan Tan, Adam Zain and Naqib Shamsuri.

I Wanna Be A Model is the Malaysia version of Make Me A Supermodel. Although Make Me A Supermodel started later than I Wanna Be A Model. The show is opened to all Malaysians who can speak fluent Mandarin.

The first season premiered on August 5, 2006. The first two seasons were hosted by Dylan Liong and Lynn Lim. Season 3 welcomed two new judge, Jeffrey Cheng and Cheryl Lee

The Ultimate Prom Nite is a Malaysian reality TV series produced by Primeworks Studios in cooperation with skincare maker Nivea. The inter-campus prom night seeks those worthy for the throne of "Ultimate Prom King and Queen" amongst students of various higher educational institutions throughout Malaysia.

Season two of The Ultimate Prom Nite aired on 8TV from 6 November till 11 December 2008. Hansen Lee and Sarah Lian were hosts, assisted by Marion Caunter and Henry Golding as judges.
