Discuss Mission: Impossible

This is still the best Missions Impossible movie of the entire series...

Feels like it's own movie, aesthetically it works.... The mood and atmosphere of a spy movie... nails it... Yeah, it's not the same as the show, but is close enough and takes things to the big screen...

Well I certainly loved seeing it on the big screen all those years ago. I've enjoyed some of the others too but don't think I've seen all of them (yet!)

The rest of the MI movies are worth watching... They're all quite entertaining...

What fascinates me most about these is that Cruise does his own stunts. That makes for a spectacle in itself, to my mind.

He's really a icon... Truly the most American actor out there, in the best way possible...

Definitely the best!

I haven’t seen this in its entirety yet. I got a kick out of the third installment. Philip Seymour Hoffman did bad guys superbly.

Ditto on Tom Cruise’s stunts.

He'd still make a first-rate Frankenstein's monster today. Or perhaps even a compelling Nosferatu, depending upon how talented Hoffman's mortician was

You’re sick

PSH wouldn't want us to spend eternity moping over his demise. Besides, if that mortician was incompetent, the only other Universal monster he's fit to portray today is Regan McNeil's long lost brother, who's now possessed by Pazzuzzu's even more evil twin

Yeah, but really, Hoffman was a standout actor, if you ask me. We are all poorer for his loss.
