All jokes aside, this may be the film where Jenna Ortega slips out of her garments, and finally gives audiences an eyeful of the goods, given the storyline of this movie
mechajutaro, I am sorry my friend, but the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s are long gone.
Remember scouring the video store shelves back in the day, and seeing those racy boxes for those B-grade R-rated movies which, nevertheless, often delivered on the nudity with some nice-looking actresses, some of whom would later move on up to the A-list and become famous a few years later?
Gone, mech. Gone.
That quick shot in the trailer of Miss Ortega kneeling on the bed in her bra and panties is probably as much as we are going to get as far as she is concerned.
I see the tentative release date for this movie is March 18; maybe I will check it out, or come back here and check out your review to see if I'm wrong (I certainly wouldn't mind being wrong).
One thing, mech, that works against there being much if any nudity in this particular movie, is that, based on the trailer, things seem to start getting homicidal for our protagonists the very first night they are at the house. Not much time for the friskiness to get going. But, perhaps, I will be spectacularly wrong.
And despite this movie being a horror flick titled "X", Denzel Washington doesn't show up as the reanimated corpse of Malcolm, still randy and eager to be in a porn
I had wondered if you might write something similarly disrespectful about our martyred Dr. King on the occasion of his national holiday as well.

Given MLK's appetite for the ladies(no judgment from me here), it's astounding that an 8mm homemade porn featuring dude and one of his many extramarital liaisons hasn't surfaced. We've always assumed that Correttl was a long suffering innocent throughout all of this, yet we've never entertained the possibility that there could be footage of threeway between her, Martin, and Mahalia Jackson locked in a vault somewhere in America
More seriously though, 'Loid.... We can honor King by remembering this scene from The Boondocks. That was filmed in the early 2000s; if MLK were around here in '22, he'd have even sterner words not just for "Black America", but for all of us, regardless of color. We can all behave much more righteously than we've been since about '17
You know, you fascinate me. One of the stupidest things a person can do when he has been called out for saying something wrong is "double down" on his wrong thinking.

Which aspects of my thinking do you find "wrong", 'Loid?
Quite a few of them, it seems... Quite a few. Your disrespectful remarks about the dead, particularly seeing as how those guys died to make me & my people's lives better, take the cake, to use one more cliche.
BTW, the only reason why I said "my people" earlier, clearly referring to black people, is because your audacity in criticizing and sometimes ridiculing fallen black leaders, being non-black, is FANTASTIC. Without question, MLK spoke for all of humanity-- but your nerve is still unheard of.

Guilty as charged. I am nervy and what some might call "politically incorrect". Just as Paul Mooney was in those clips we were both admiring over on the Fear Street thread

By that sort of logic, non-whites are committing sacrilege, when they criticize fallen American leaders who happen to be white. If we're seriously opposed to racial prejudice, what does skin matter here?
It’s not “prejudice” I’m that concerned about. And when encountering criticism, there isn’t anything wrong with questioning the critic.
Your thoughts which are borderline obsessive about skin color are ugly, and it shows in your language. As black folks, we need to be questioning of criticism coming from non-black people.

It wasn't I who brought skin color into this conversation, and one has to work really hard to twist racism out of anything I've said. In any event, we're getting way off topic. Let's continue this over on the general discussion portion of TMDB, if one exists, before the mods lock this thread
Being black in America is about much more than skin color. I think the "one drop" rule may still apply, even to folks whose skin is the shade of cream with a bit of coffee added to it. I recall bringing black identity into the dialogue, while you injected a poisonous subtext of hatred for certain skin tones into it -- questioning people's blackness with quotation marks and using the term "anemic" to describe my thinking. But hey, what else is new?
BTW, I didn't mean earlier that non-black people can't help us with criticism. Not at all.
The fuck you guys doing to my thread!?!? I dont give two shits about MLK or hear about anyone's skin color. I dont care if you are white, black, or purple, it has nothing to do with this sexy ass film. You can have a dream somewhere else you cunts. I just want to discuss a film that looks better than the new bullshit Leatherface Netflix is releasing...that looks like an abortion and proves the leaks are right.

What? No influence from The Rocky Horror Picture Show in there?

Haha wait is that really considered horror? From what I remember from seeing it many moons ago I just laughed most of the time.

No, but everything goes better with The Rocky Horror, doesn't it?

Unlike the tasteless crud you posted up above, this post got a laugh out of me.
