I thought Earth was Unicron. In the Last Knight Anthony Hopkins clearly stated that Earth was once known as Unicron but in this movie Unicron is a separate being. Cany anybody explain this?

The Transformers franchise is a multiverse with different continuities, alternate time lines and parallel universes.
Included in the Michael Bay's Transformers Universe are "Transformers (2007)", "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009)", "Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011)", "Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014)" and "Transformers: The Last Knight (2017)". In this universe, millions of years ago, Unicron, after being defeated, drifted into a Solar System, and Earth formed around its inert body. The premise appears to be similar to the animated series "Transformers: Prime (2010-2013)".
"Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (2023)" is in a different continuity and is considered a reboot of the Bay's Universe, a sequel of "Bumblebee (2018)", and - what makes it confusing - also a prequel to the Bay's Universe. Unicron in this universe is not Earth, but more like as it was originally conceived in the animated movie "The Transformers: The Movie (1986)" and later in the animated television series "Beast Wars: Transformers (1996-1999)". It was the arch-enemy of Cybertron, as big as a planet, with transforming abilities.
