Über Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania diskutieren

Like with the quantum realm, it seems there is no bottom, no low to which Marvel can descent. At this point they are just in free fall, until they hit something hard and splash themselves all over it. And frankly, this can't happen soon enough.

This new Ant-Man is a perfect example how Marvel movies are turning to be just a collection of gags and sketches, without any proper plot structure, characters development and without even trying to evoke some genuine emotions within the viewer. Marvel movies are now something you put on TV in front of your small children so they can just shut up for 2 hours, and maybe fall asleep from complete and utter boredom. This is what happens when you hire your creative team based on the cleverness of the meme they found on the internet and printed on office printer to hang on the fridge in the office kitchen. Wow, it's so us and how we behave in the office, ha-ha. Let's give that dude a movie screenplay to write. He knows his memes, so he must be a suitable script writer for mega million franchise with millions of fans all over the world, right?

And obviously the main fault is on Marvel executives that lack basic understanding what cinema is. These morons don't watch movies, they just look at the data of what is popular now on the internet and hire these people. Just because someone participated in writing Rick and Morty doesn't mean they can write a movie, ffs! And all the ideas in Ant-man 3 are like gags in Rick and Morty, it's bizarre enough to be a 5 second joke in the average episode, but it can't be the main basis to hold any movie, and especially not big blockbuster movie. How dumb you need to be to think they can?

Marvel has a management problem, a decision making problem. These people have no idea what they are doing and they suck.

It's not new but it was just occasional misses, now it's just one after another. We still had some more or less decent products and find something interesting in what Marvel does, but now it's just crap after crap and it's getting worse and worse with time. This new Ant-man suppose to start new phase in MCU, but it's such a complete garbage it's hard for me to comprehend how anyone in Marvel agreed to release it in theaters. I mean, Iron Man 3 was weak, Thor 2 was below average, but there was still something interesting enough in each of them to hold my attention and still enjoy these movies. But Ant-man 3 is just ridiculous on every level, it's like Marvel just doesn't care anymore. They wouldn't dare to release this garbage 10 years ago.

Disney think they have to adjust everything to their family friendly concepts, but they are wrong. The audiences change and there is very large audience that want mature movies with serious themes, they don't have to view everything as family material. Disney just have no balls to separate their product and put their names on something that is not family friendly. And that's just wrong and bad executive decision.

About the bottom of the Quantum Realm, I have this little theory where the lowest point of the Quantum Realm, the smallest a person can get, is a connection point to all the Multiverses. Imagine if Reed Richards from the 2000s Fantastic Four movies, Tobey's Peter Parker, or perhaps his Oscorp, or 2003 Bruce Banner, finds out the Quantum Realm existed instead of Hank Pym, and they go in too. If they keep descending for very long, they'll eventually get to a bottom point. That's where the universes get together. Imagine if Hank Pym, or Janet, or Scott, or even Kang or MODOK get there, they'll find these semi-canon MCU characters. I even did a fanfic on that one thing.

We have a Disney+ sub (get it free with points from where I do the food shopping) and I can assure you that not everything on there is "family friendly". Obviously the "Disney" stuff is, but not the sub-brands

Yeah, I wrote about Artful Dodger as well, I liked it a lot. But Disney+ is not all their productions, they just buy content because they have to, they can't hold it only on their own. So they don't have any involvement into a lot of stuff they have on their service, that's why they have decent stuff too. I am talking only about what Disney create and produce by themselves or with their approval.

The forthcoming "Echo" is rated MA.

Pretty sure it should be rated "N" for nobody.
