It came out the summer I graduated from high school. I remember going to see it with friends. Of course then had to promptly buy a copy of the soundtrack!

It's a movie I can watch any time. One of my favourite actresses, Joan Blondell, has a small role in it.

Very educational film. My aunt let me watch this in the early 90s when I was still in primary school. I asked her what the girl was doing (before I'm Sandy scene) and she said it's an exercise to make your boobs grow. Showed it to my classmates and we would exercise during recess lol there was even a chant. All the condom broke/pregnancy stuff didn't make an impact, just that exercise.
Watched this on stage but John Travolta's version is the best for me.
