Discuss The Promised Land

Item: The Promised Land

Language: en-US

Type of Problem: Bad_image

Extra Details: Hi, I would like to request that the current main poster for this film be changed for the high-resolution one uploaded by Zadzior. The reason for this is that the film itself is Polish so it makes sense to use the original Polish poster provided that there is a good copy available, which there is. Secondly, these original Polish posters in themselves possess a certain aesthetic quality that far surpasses any recent DVD release.

If you're browsing TMDb in English, you'll see the English posters. man_shrugging

I’m not browsing tmdb, I’m using Letterboxd. And whatever the main poster is on tmdb it sets it as that on Letterboxd. Is there really no way to change the poster to its original release poster? It really seems nonsensical to use some terrible fake poster.

Not sure if Letterboxd even choose non-English language posters. You'll have to ask them. They're very much in control of their posters.

If you want change the poster used by Letterboxd, you need to ask this to the support team of Letterboxd. Even if we change the main poster here, it will not change on Letterboxd.
