Discuss Little Women

Before I start this review I would like to quote some of my thoughts while watching. "Oh shit, it's Saul Goodman, attorney at law." "Isn't this basically the premise of the song Don't Cry Joni?" "That' so reminiscent of Midsommar, what the heck?" So to begin I didn't really plan on watching this film so I thank my sister for insisting it on me. It was a good watch. It was fun and of course sad, but the thought that really lingered with me is how does a story about the life of four women be this interesting? And furthermore, it's the sixth adaptation of that story. Think about that. It's truly remarkable. But I only watched the sixth adaptation so that's all I'm going to talk about. The two cast that really stood out in this film for me is Saoirse Ronan and Florence Pugh. Saoirse really exhibited the strong willed and stubborn character that is Jo. She will really make you root out for her till the end of the film. Florence on the other hand was just adorable. Others may find it annoying but I don't care. And if you put them all together it's just chaos and I love it. The sense of sisterhood and family well portrayed.

I haven't seen this version (yet, I might in the future). But of all the versions I have seen, the 1994 version is my favorite (you should watch it). My LEAST favorite is the 1949 version. Really weird casting, June Allyson as Jo was just bad!
