I saw it a very long time ago. Unfortunately for me, I wasn't in a receptive mood at all, and it just got past me pretty much. Kurosawa's talkier films can be very tricky to digest, I'll say.

What say you guys? Is this a good one? Sucky? Middling? Or what?

It's been a while but I enjoyed it. I'm a big Mifune fan (& Kurosawa). I gave it a 7.5/10.

Mifune is probably the #1 reason why I love ❤️ Kurosawa films
