I always watch a movie when Paul Giamatti is in it, because he has the best nose for excellent indie scripts. This started out quite funny, and at first it seemed to have an almost Woody Allen style comedic sense to it. But as the movie progressed it got deeper and slightly more melancholy, and I was moved. I absolutely loved it.
It's on amazon prime right now. If you love slightly quirky indies, definitely catch it.

I saw it on the Showtime Beyond channel via DVR, and yes, it is a "Wow!" film in "The Quiet Earth" kind of way. (This is one reason I search the "early morning hours before dawn" listings for these kinds of movies.) "Gattaca" came to mind as Paul Giamatti visited the New York facilities, before he realized what his 95% was all about. This is what the "SyFy channel" should be producing instead of that "sharknado" kid stuff. But then, this isn't a movie for the "teenage mutant TV programmers" infesting Fox and "SyFy," so let them "stumble all the way to the bank." In short, this is almost like a foreign film, "that keeps on playing in your mind" long after the projector has been turned off.
