Christopher Lee, Sybil Danning and Stephen Parsons all make this film worthwhile for me. If Hammer was still making films in the mid 80s it would probably have turned out similar.

Obviously nowhere near as good as the first one, but I do have a soft spot for this and recently bought them both on Blu-ray - great fun horror films!!

The Blu Rays are great. I remember back in the day trying to watch the Howling II on VHS. The picture quality was so bloody dark making any night time scenes impossible to see.

Yep! Had it on VHS, dvd... I got the bluray version from Arrow - very nice picture quality and quite a few bonus features
