Het laatste gevecht in de jungle van Vietnam. Terwijl de laatste dagen ingaan van deze oorlog vormen de Amerikanen een commandogroep voor een tegenaanval. Maar deze wordt teniet gedaan door een bericht dat de oorlog is beëindigd. Totdat blijkt dat bepaalde Vietcong-leden dit bericht niet accepteren en verschillende leden van de commandogroep gevangen neemt. De aanvoerder van de groep weet te ontsnappen en bereidt een gevaarlijke reddingsoperatie voor.

Towards the end of the Vietnam war, the US is running low on drivers for their supplies so they bring in a new lot of recruits and have to train them to survive in the dangers of wartorn Vietnam. The recruits are trained briefly by an American officer but are quickly handed off to their South Vietnamese officers and are made to go out into the dangers of Vietnam without getting the protection they need by the Americans who are more concerned with withdrawing their own troops instead of protecting the South Vietnamese

Vers la fin de la guerre du Vietnam, les États-Unis sont à court de chauffeurs pour leurs approvisionnements, ils font donc venir un nouveau lot de recrues et doivent les former pour survivre dans les dangers du Vietnam déchiré par la guerre. Les recrues sont brièvement entraînées par un officier américain mais sont rapidement remises à leurs officiers sud-vietnamiens et sont obligées de se lancer dans les dangers du Vietnam sans obtenir la protection dont elles ont besoin par les Américains qui sont plus préoccupés par le retrait de leurs propres troupes que par protéger les sud-vietnamiens
