Filmen ble dårlig mottatt av kritikerne, men ble til tross for det blant de mest inntektsbringende kinofilmene i Norge i 1969. Lillebjørn Nilsen og Sigrid Huun spiller hovedrollene Arne (17) og Eva (16) som eksperimenterer med cannabis.
