There's actually a typo in the url/headline at filmdienst -> it's Jo*h*nny, not Jonny! When you scroll down on their website a bit, it's correct on the left where it says: "Verweistitel -> Keine Gnade für Johnny T."

Here are 3 different Dutch newspaper clippings that prove the correct title: ONE, TWO, and THREE.

And it's the same when you search for the string "Keine Gnade für Johnny T." at Genios - so that's definitely the original German title (it seems there was no earlier theatrical release - or any other release).

And since the air time was after midnight at 00.25 -> the air date is actually the next day, June 8, 1991. I already made both changes here on TMDb.

For someone who is reading this and wants to improve the current TMDb data -> there is a French western movie forum with lots of info, images, details, etc. in regards to this movie here:

https://forum.westernmovies.fr/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1266

I don't have time for this myself (and I don't understand French). hourglass

PS: All the current backdrops for the entry look really bad... crying_cat_face

Thank you and I won't argue about a "h" ;-)

Maybe the title at filmdienst is wrong. But it isn't a typo. The meaning of "Verweistitel" is that there a other german titles for this movie. So in their opinion there are two German titles for this movie. One speeled with "h" and one without.

I didn't know that they use it this way - thanks for the explanation! smiley_cat

I understand what you mean. But I can't find any proof that there was a German release in which Johnny was spelled Jonny. All the results that I can find are in data bases that seem to refer to each other. I assume that's a spelling mistake - I don't think Jonny was ever used. Well, at least I'm out of ideas where to look ... joy

FYI I re-added "Keine Gnade für Jonny T." as an alternative title. It's a good title to have as an alternative, even if it turns out to be a misspelling. cat
