Judi Dench really is outstanding in this, such a wicked and blackly funny performance Easily my favourite of her screen roles. Cate Blanchett didn't really convince but Bill Nighy was excellent in support, too. Very entertaining film.

Dench was so good. I've actually met women like the Cate Blanchett character, I felt she played the role very well, but Dench was the true soul of the movie.
