:) Had to look up Heather Menzies. Even though I'm from the era, I never watched the show. However, I see the appeal. She had the Barbi Benton/Farrah Fawcett hair and everything. Man, oh man, do I miss the '70's. (Of course, I was a toddler/pre-teen, and my mom dressed me in PLAID, but I'm still nostalgic.)
EDIT: Aw crap, I searched for her picture and I'd forgotten that she was Robert Urich's wife until his death. They seemed to deeply love on another and I LOVED his work. (Yes, even The Ice Pirates.) Well thanks for THAT bummer... :)
I watched the television series recently and it was amazing. I had a few favorites like the time traveler, the scientist being poisoned and they had to find a killer among them, the alien space ship holding hostages.
Liked this movie a lot. Saw it on bluray recently for the first time. Back in the 70s, people had funny ideas about what the future would look like. Tech always make movies look dated, but the story more than makes up for it.

They sure did. Look no further than Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange (1971) for more proof... although I'm thinking more in terms of fashion.

Really good film!! Frighteningly, something similar could happen in reality, if we don't stop reproducing ourselves. Too many people!!!

Wasn't the age of termination in the movie 30 years? In the book it was 21 years.

Renew!
...and I'm well past that sell-by date. I'm approaching Peter Ustinov's wizened old man stage.
The TV series didn't have Jenny Agutter. +1 film.

It paved the way for television as we know it.
