Il giovane avvocato Federico Fendi è rimasto colpito dal fascino di Carla, un'indossatrice fidanzata col suo amico Renzo. Un giorno, questi gli rivela di aver troncato ogni rapporto con la donna, avendo avuto la certezza che ella frequenta di nascosto una casa d'appuntamenti.
