Parte come un film d'avventure e diventa un dramma giudiziario: si scopre che i rivoltosi non sono nati schiavi e quindi, secondo la Costituzione degli Stati Uniti, avevano il diritto di lottare per la loro libertà (abolita nel Regno Unito nel 1772, la schiavitù esisteva ancora nel Nordamerica).

David Moore is in East Africa to get to his employer's railway construction site. In the wake of the racial reckoning in America following the death of George Floyd, Grenada's national commission on reparations for slavery has begun to meet and debate what reparations means. In this film, Laura she travels to Grenada to try and learn more about the legacy of slavery on Grenada and her family's involvement in the slave trade.
