In S2E07 Yolanda decides to quit the JSA. Why? Because she could not continue after what happened in season one.

Henry King Jr. was killed by his father Henry King Sr. (aka Brainwave). She later took revenge by slashing Brainwave's throat with her claws, when he tried to take over her mind. Although she was justified in her action, the guilt over what she had done started to affect her deeply and - finding no solace and support from the church, her family and friends - there was only one thing she could do: to walk away from everything.

"This is my punishment."

She doesn't want to be forced to ever kill again.

"I don't want you to have to live with that guilt, to know that you will always be a killer in God's eyes."

Will Yolanda ever return to the JSA?
