Discuss Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

I've created this discussion just to tell that 3rd season of the series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is already out on 24 january, 2020. But the series page on the website is not updated. The page shows only two seasons. Can anyone update that page and add the third season. As I'm a new member therefore I can't edit page to add new season. Chilling adventures of Sabrina page on this site: https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/79242-the-chilling-adventures-of-sabrina/edit?active_nav_item=genres&language=en-US Chilling Adventures of Sabrina page on IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7569592/episodes

upp.

I don't know why, but on TMDB, Season 1 and 2 are season 1 and season 3 is season 2. Netflix does not conform to traditional seasons like the broadcast networks, so seasons are becoming an iffy concept. It will likely not become more clear in the future.

This has already been discussed and explained in the section Content Issues.

Main Source: Netflix: Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

Netflix initially ordered 20 episodes for the first season and split it into two parts.

Season 1:

Part 1: Chapter One - Chapter Eleven; 11 episodes (10 episodes; October 26, 2018; the holiday special "A Midwinter’s Tale"; December 14, 2018).

Part 2: Chapter Twelve - Chapter Twenty; 9 episodes (April 5, 2019).

After the renewal, another 16 episodes were ordered and are also split into two parts.

Season 2:

Part 3: Chapter Twenty-One - Chapter Twenty-Eight; 8 episodes (January 24, 2020).

Part 4: Chapter Twenty-Nine - Chapter Thirty-Six; 8 episodes (December 31, 2020).

On the TMDb site there is an episode group for Part 1- Part 3.

Basically, TMDB's stance has been that because 1 time originally when Netflix ordered the show, it was ordered as one season, they are keeping it that way on the main page. Instead of updating to the actual usage of the show, how netflix actually airs the show, or how anyone really reports it currently - TMDB doesn't want to do that. So, they leave it. There is an episode grouping by parts on the site, but that doesn't help make sense of Netflix showing it as 4 seasons now, and trying to pair it up correctly. So, I'm skipping using TMDB for anything and instead am using other sites that work with its community to display content in a way that makes sense during consumption.
