I'm not a big Stephen King fan. He scares the bejeebers out of me. I enjoyed the TV miniseries "It" (except for the ending) and any time it's on TV I find myself gravitating toward it. Re Mr. Mercedes, I can't say I'm "enjoying" it but I'm avidly following it. It's very well done; however, I noticed with the last two episodes I've hesitated a lot before sitting down to watch it. Had to get myself in the right frame of mind. I think the bit with the mother just did me in.

The whole mom story line is very Bates but more disturbing for sure! I have so 9 to watch tonight. I think the show was done very well. I haven't been bored once but I also am a big Stephen king fan

I may come out of my scaredy cat shell and attempt to read one of his books. Tried reading Pet Sematary years ago and had to put it down, too scary. Maybe I'll try IT; at least I loved the miniseries. Especially loved the coming of age aspect.

I LOVE IT!!!! If you have Netflix and want to check out his new movie but older book Geralds Game was excellent!

Thanks! I'll check it out... once I get my nerve up :)
