I was expecting and actual show, something along the lines of Madmen. Instead it is a "docudrama" with "reen-actors" doing some poorly written reenactments, around interviews and actual footage. Ugh. Would have made a great real show, have no idea why they went this route. The story is interesting but the reenactments are mostly embarrassingly bad.

I'm currently on the third episode and I agree. I don't care for the half interviews half reenactments. I wish it was just an actual show with actors and actresses playing the parts. Even keeping narration in the background for opening a scene or something like that would have been fine with me but going back and forth between interviews and real footage and actors playing out scenes is not really working for me.
