Discuss The Great American Baking Show

Item: The Great American Baking Show

Language: en-US

Type of Problem: Incorrect_content

Extra Details: The currently presented poster and background images that we have for this show are out of date, from past seasons (specifically from Seasons 1 and/or 2). This new 4th season (that debuted last night) has replaced all pictured hosts and judges (not to mention also, of course, all contestants) of Seasons 1 and 2, which renders the posted images now fully out of date by at least two years. The only still-relevant posted poster image that we have on TMDb, for this show, is the one of a pie with red berries atop it. I've at various times, in recent weeks, tried re-upvoting that image, to get it to show, however the now-irrelevant poster of the two hosts from Seasons 1 and 2 (who, incidentally, were married to one another at the time, but divorced earlier this year) continues to show, instead.

I don't know anything about dealing with images for TMDb, so am submitting this report hoping that a moderator will add new, current images for this show's 4th season that debuted last night (6 December 2018). Thank you.

Incidentally, here's the show's website: https://abc.go.com/shows/the-great-american-baking-show

PS: This season is comprised of three episodes. Each is 1 hour 25 minutes (thus 85 mins.) in duration. We presently have 45 mins. stored and showing as the show's length, as the episodes of the first two seasons were 45 mins. apiece. Should the duration be kept as the former 45 mins. length, or be changed to the current 85-mins.-per-episode length? (I remember that last year's ill-fated Season 3, that got unceremoniously abruptly canceled after only the first episode aired, due to a scandal breaking regarding judge Johnny Iuzzini, was also 85 mins. for at least the one episode that aired.)

FYI Update (December 22): I watched all three 85-minutes episodes of Season 4 and want to mention that each had credits solely at the very beginning and very end of the airing broadcast, never at the midway point. Thus each episode was produced to air straight through as one single complete 85 minutes episode, rather than as two shorter episodes aired back to back. I mention this to make clear that this series definitely no longer is produced as 45 mins. episodes, as if it was there would be credits reappearing at the midway point. (I've seen many shows that do that, making evident that there are separate individual episodes airing consecutively, though this show definitely didn't do that.)

I add some new series backdrops, however, good posters or logo are pretty difficult to find. So the poster with the wrong people will have to do for now.

You can add a second run time for the double episodes if you want, but please don't remove the individual (45min) runtime. v

Thanks so much for adding the new images! Those definitely bring things nicely up to speed. grin

I've newly up-voted/down-voted images, to try to get the best new ones into the primary (current) main display positions. The background images fully cooperated, and now displayed is a current (from the most recent season) image. Unfortunately, meanwhile, the no-longer-relevant poster of the now-divorced former hosts persists as the displayed main poster due to it having gotten a majority of votes in past years. It's more than 2 seasons out of date though.

PS: On the Overview page, did I, a few minutes ago, add the 85 mins. run time the way that you meant for me to, to show subsequent to the original 45 mins. run time? If I didn't do that in the way that you meant, please let me know.
