I hadn't realized, and would never have guessed, that the actor who portrays baker Francatelli is star actor (and knight of the British Empire) Ben Kingsley's son!

Now that I'm aware of that, I definitely can see the resemblance!

I didn't know until recently either genplant29! I've been enjoying the character and his portrayal anyway, but to find out he's the son of such a masterful performer was really a pleasant surprise. No doubt we'll be seeing much more of Ferdinand Kingsley in the future. Love his dad, and now him too!

It's always neat to discover some star's adult child "hiding in plain sight" in the primary supporting cast of something! I remember, years back, while watching an episode of the terrific Inspector Lewis detective series, that the actress portraying one of the main characters (who turned out to be the murderer) in that episode sure did look just like a young Dianna Rigg. Then I checked the cast list on IMDb - and, sure enough, the beautiful young woman is, indeed, her daughter! Ditto, there's a very pretty young actress who played in a large supporting role in a Poirot episode, I kept thinking, much of the time when she was on screen, that something about her seemed familiar, and turns out she's the daughter of Phoebe Nicholls (who played "Lady Cordelia" in the exceptional 1981 Brideshead Revisited series)! Then, a year or two ago, in the series The Crimson Field, the main young actress in it turns out to be none other than Geraldine Chaplin's daughter, Oona! Were it not that I tend to like looking through IMDb cast lists after watching something, I'd never have realized who any of those members of the younger generation are the adult children of!

I haven't seen or noticed Phoebe Nicholl's daughter Matilda Sturridge yet, but I just did a search and she DOES look so much like her mother did in Brideshead Revisited.
