Are different releases per countries/language not supported at all (idk if this is a technical limitation of tmdb)? I ask because the show would stay faulty for at least the german release, there is no 6 episodes release (vod, DVD ...) for german so the scraped data is always wrong. best regards

You would have to ask Travis. Alternative versions for movies are planned, but supporting two completely different episode cuts seems really complicated. Thankfully it doesn't happen too often! (I'm not counting double episodes, we can easily work around those.)

If not full alternative version support, it might be worth having some sort of trivia about alternative versions.

I can think of two other shows which are in different formats in other countries... Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy (1981) aired on BBC two as six 30 minutes episodes, but on PBS as seven 25-minute episodes.

It's listed in this database as a movie, so presumably it was also edited together as a full movie in some parts of the world.

And 'The Extreme Ghostbusters' is one US season, but aired as three 13 episode series and an hour long special in the UK.
