No one I know watches JTV. Literally. I know no one who watches this show. I used Voldemort's message boards (IMDB) as a book club almost...I need someone to talk to about MICHAEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm a few episodes behind so I just watched THE EPISODE Friday night, as well as the one after it. Okay. I am still processing lol. They skipped ahead so fast I feel like we didn't have a chance to process what we were seeing! Please, someone discuss! I am heartbroken here lol.

I hated Micheal in the first season. By season 3, I absolutely loved him. It broke my heart that they killed him off and seeing Janes reaction really floored me

I think they planned the time jump because Jane would grieve Michael for a long time, but the show is a comedy so they needed time to lighten the tone. Still, she should be dating by now. It is one thing to live without sex as a virgin, but once Jane tasted the forbidden fruit, she should be eager to have a physical relationship again after an appropriate amount of time.

I too was heartbroken. I love Michael and when he died, I was planning on finishing the season (half-heartedly) and then quit. But, this last episode was really good. I love Raphael and Petra together. I have always hoped they would end up a couple. Of course, that will probably change a few times before the show is over, but I am happy in the direction it is going now.

I don't know anyone who watches it either. I cried when Michael died but I like where the show is heading.

I do like the time jump because yeah, she would have grieved for a long time and that wouldn't have made good tv. I just wish they had done like half an episode showing funeral, reactions, etc., and then the time jump. It just felt really rushed to me and like the audience didn't get to grieve.

I told people on IMDB about this site and other message boards. I stopped watching the show when they killed off Michael. Between that and the "so-what" abortion by Jane's mother, I'd had enough. I haven't seen a single episode since.
Rogelio De La Vega, Jane's dad, was the best character on the show, (other than the funny narrator.) The writing on the show went downhill after the first season.

If people aren't watching, they are missing one hilarious show. They're loss.
