The best episodic scripted show on TV was off to a rollicking start tonight. Getting the bad out of the way, McGregor was struggling with the Minnesota accent and sounding positively English from time to time. Pretty much my only complaint.

Favorite scene: Knox Harrington showing up after the bleeps and buzzers phone call. He wasn't overtly threatening, nor was the scene done that way, but the menace was there burbling under the surface.

Best musical discovery: Adriano Celentano over the bridge tournament intro.

And now I have two series in which to bask in Carrie Coon's [edit: it's her name. can't really change that. sticks and stones, people...] face that started four days apart. Exciting times we live in.

Yes, I'm looking forward to the rest of this season. (Also, great sound track and cinematography tonight, as usual.) Classic Coen brothers; and fine writing and direction by Hawley.

I enjoyed the premiere. It's great having the show back for another season. Mary Elizabeth Winstead's character interested me the most. Plus I didn't hate that shot from behind.

rofl Truth. Before your edit I was trying to figure out what dirty word you typed.

One of my favorite scenes: The AC unit

Meh so far I'm not that impressed. It's the characters who aren't that great as subsequent seasons. The music is distracting too. It's like watching a music video.

I think it started slower than the previous two seasons, but I am looking forward to how it unfolds. That Minnesota accent never gets old (yes, I am from Minnesota). McGregor did struggle with it a bit. I also loved the soundtrack, especially the bridge tournament. Really can't wait to see what MEW brings to her character.

Struggling to get into this season, definitely slower than the previous seasons. I have a rule of thumb, if a show is still boring after 3-4 episodes I will give up on it.

Last night's episode was brilliant.

A nasty bloody tampon in a drawer. That's what.

Yup, that was nasty. To be fair to her, that was the script.
