艾碧（陈乔恩 饰）和男友黄柏成（田家达 饰）与朋友一起，庆祝自己22岁生日，此时接到父亲艾永年（梁修治 饰）的电话，得知家族企业明天破产的不幸消息，她冲岀派对现场赶赴渔港，想与父亲见面。狗仔记者叶伟哲（许孟哲 饰）看出端倪，紧随其后驾车追赶，不料途中撞车爆胎。当艾碧赶到码头时，偷渡逃难的渔船马上要开了，她还没来的及问父亲何时能回来，船就开动了，父女俩含泪离别。正在这时，她发现叶伟哲已经赶来，正对着起锚的渔船不停的拍照，艾碧顾不上女孩子的矜持，苦苦哀求叶伟哲不要将父亲负债逃走的事登岀去，叶毫不理会，争抢中相机落入大海。由此，俩人展开了一段剪不断理还乱的奇缘......

Albee is a pampered, high-class young lady who has never experienced any hardship in her life. On her birthday, just when she expects to be proposed to by her long-time boyfriend Huang Bo Cheng, her life is turned upside down. Her father is forced to flee the country and she finds herself without a father, home, or even a boyfriend. Soon after she finds herself destitute, she reads in the tabloids that Huang Bo Cheng and her best friend Zhen Zhen have been secretly seeing each other. To make matters worse, she is being followed by a tabloid photographer. What will Albee do?

Albee, é uma mimada dama da alta classe, que nunca teve dificuldade em sua vida. Seu pai é obrigado a fugir do país e ela se encontra sem pai e sem casa... Logo depois, ela se encontra desamparada, ela lê nos tabloides que seu namorado e sua melhor amiga foram vistos juntos. Para piorar a situação, ela está sendo seguida pelo fotógrafo do tabloide.
