Presumably he still has the ponytail merc and his team looking out for him. But as far as his personal detail, yeah that is gone now. He is going to have to bring in someone else I suppose. I wonder how long Dembe will be out of the picture. Is he working with Kate to attack Red's businesses? Can Red ever mend fences with the two of them? I thought he made a huge mistake when he shot Kate. I was really shocked by that. I expected there to be some serious blowback on account of that when I saw that she didn't die.

The writing is so good on this show. There are various plot lines working all the time. Red has just about always found a way to stay on top of things. Now he is slipping. I don't know why they are writing it this way now, but I am intrigued and will keep watching.
