The issue is that season 3 has 24 episodes and TMDB only has 18 listed. The season 3 disc set of the Muppet Show has 24 episodes on it. IMDB has all 24 episodes listed and other multiple sites such as Fandom.com, Justwatch.com, next-episode.com and more list all 24 episodes as well.
The reply by the other mod is incorrect. There are 24 episodes for season 3 otherwise wide the official Muppet show disc set would not contain 24 episodes listed as season 3 episodes 1-24. Alls that we are asking for is for this to be corrected. How can the disc set and every other website be wrong and ITV be correct?
Even if Disney Plus, TV insider, just watch.com, The TVDB.COM, Zap2it.com, and the official season box set list 24 episodes for season 3, ITV is correct and everyone else, even the owners of the Muppet Show (Disney Plus), is incorrect. By the way all of these air dates are between September 1978 to July 1979. Season 4 did not start until September 1979.
The original broadcaster was ABC in the USA . Also here is the link for UK broadcast dates and here is the link for the original broadcast dates for the USA. Both original broadcast dates show that their is only 24 episodes for season 2 and their is also 24 episodes for season 3. If every other website and disc set has 24 episodes for season 2 and season 3 then maybe you should contact ITV and inform them of THEIR MISTAKE. Instead of aruing with me maybe do some research and discover the facts.
This is a show produced in the United Kingdom. Consequently, the UK broadcast made by ITV is considered as the original even if it was broadcasted before in another country.

First, the 2 links you have posted are the same. But, if you look better on it, you will see that the UK page list 30 episodes in the 2nd season and 18 episodes in the 3rd one as visible in this image: https://i.imgur.com/lcvVkLB.png

Note : A broadcaster has perfectly the right to split the seasons differently that what was suggested by the producer. Consequently, what they have done is not a mistake, but a choice. And, as per our rules, we should list the shows as they were originally broadcasted, not as they were produced.
In what country were they broadcast in that order? I have already provided you prof of how the two seasons were broadcast in both England and the USA. Please stop being obtuse. Both England and the USA list the seasons as 24 episodes each but you are refusing to do any research or correct a mistake that affects people who use an app that relies on your data base. I am trying to be civil with you to fix an issue but you continuously refuse to offer anything but snarky remarks.

The main episode listing is determined by the original network; in this series' case, that's ITV. TMDB does have episode groups for other orders.

Because, as per our rules, we always list the seasons as per the original broadcast and not as per the production.
The original broadcast has been done by ITV, so the correct informations for our site are the ITV informations.

As per our rules, the original broadcaster is the KING. This original broadcaster is ITV.
The other 6 episodes were broadcasted by ITV in March and April 1978, as part of season 2.
If you want them in another order, you can use an episode group.
