@FormerKnownAs:William Shatner was very good in Judgement In Nuremberg, and also in a film called Incubus, which has the distinction of being the only movie made in the Esperanto language.

George Takei was on a second season episode of Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea called The Silent Saboteurs.

Couldn't find a clip with Shatner...just a bit of his dialogue.

But...

Looking at the cast, what really amazes me is that they were able to pull together so many "heavy hitters"...in the acting world at the time...into one movie. Guess the “weight” of the material and significance of the task-at-hand trumped everything else. No doubt, it was such an honor to be asked that a called to “check your ego at the door” wasn’t necessary.

Kinda too bad it Ran-Up-On “West Side Story” come awards time.

Thanks.

Great to be able to see/hear the happenings...and not just read dialogue.

How are Thanksgiving preparations coming? I have a very important job during Thanksgivings. I am the official taster in my household. Nothing gets served unless I taste it first and give it the 👌🏻! 😉😝

And, since time has passed, in "The Big Mouth" starring Jerry Lewis.

@FormerlyKnownAs: I'll have to check out how Judgement At Nuremberg did when it came to Oscar nominations. One of the best performances in the film was by Montgomery Cliff. What a terrific actor he was! May he Rest In Peace.

Have I mentioned that George Takei was in a first season episode of Classic Mission Impossible? He played a guest IMF Agent named Roger who was a chemist and went on a mission with Rollin, Barney, and Cinnamon to infiltrate an enemy base. I believe that the episode was called The Saboteurs.

George Takei also had a bit part in the Frank Sinatra WW2 movie Never So Few. It also starred Richard Johnson, Gina Lollabridgida, Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, Dean Jones and Peter Lawford. It's always been a guilty pleasure WW2 movie of mine. I quite like it but I've heard that a lot of people didn't.

This is nothing new and maybe someone already mentioned it, but I recently saw Moontrap (1989) with Walter Koenig. Despite its low score (48%) I thought it was pretty good for an 80s low budget scifi flick, had a cool dark vibe (clearly inspired by Alien), and Walter Koenig proved he could carry a leading role nicely. Maybe it gets a little campy in the last half, but that's part of the fun.

@rooprect: I saw part of that movie! I believe that Bruce "The Chin" Campbell is in it too.

That's the one! I'd never seen Bruce Campbell in a movie before; the Koenig/Campbell pair worked really well.

@rooprect: Yes, they most certainly did!

Robert Walker Jr. (Charlie X) in "Charlie's Angels: Angels at the Altar (S4E04, 1979)" as Burt Marshall.
