In this the penultimate episode the rescue involves 2 women, one who is blind and one who is partially sighted. Their leader Graham tells Danny where their route will be and they set off. Graham has a heart attack and the women are left alone. Foolishly the partially sighted woman wanders off, believing that they have more chance of being rescued that way.

Douglas and Gordon are involved in a serious accident together.

The episode opens with the snow falling that we saw at the end of the previous episode.

We realise that the conditions are treacherous and the team hears that there has been an avalanche, two young people who have been skiing are missing.
