While the group tries to track down a cult of vampires with a wicked scheme, Cordelia gets a surprise visit from her high school friend Harmony. Unaware that Harmony is now a vampire, Cordelia invites her to join the team on a mission.

Cordelia realises she was transported into a demon dimension where humans are considered inferior and sold into slavery. When Angel, Gunn, Wesley and the Host jump through the portal in search of her, they are attacked by an angry mob of villagers.

Gunn's loyalties are torn between his current demon-hunting associates and the gang he used to hang out with, which has taken to killing demons for fun instead of defence.

Angel tries to keep his son safe from the many demons, vampires and humans who would like to harm the baby; Holtz joins forces with another vampire slayer.
