Discusión Constelación

This show feels like they asked too much for something with that unremarkable result. I mean, would anyone even care if it was just one actor? How is having twin sisters even visible in the show? I guess the purpose was to show the difference between the two versions of the daughter, but there is nothing in the writing or in directing that is done to actually make it significant or noticeable. They could just as much use one actor and slightly change her appearance with a makeup, getting exactly same results. And most of this show is like that - planning too much on the background, but not really exploiting it in any significant way.

Another thing is that the show just puts too much emphasize on Jo and too much time we spend with closeups on her face while nothing important is happening. It's a sign that the plot is quite thin so they force us to watch Jo just because they have nothing else to show.

There is some mild similarity to a show I really liked, Shining Girls, but in that show the writing was to the point, the editing was superb, the plot had only important and meaningful scenes, and the directing was very good. It's one of most underrated shows I've seen recently, totally underappreciated how good it is. And Constellation tries similar tricks, but misses every shot it fires. The idea maybe good, but the approach is wrong and therefore the result is just meh...

It was 'meh' for me as well.

The twin sisters were a good detail, not exploited, but neither counterproductive.

The last episode was the worst =/

it was dragging quite a lot with finally"big reveal" in episode 6 when it got some pace finally, but it felt incredibly long and if there were 2-3 less episodes not much would be missed
