Hi @bensonxu,
This attribute will be changing over the next few days, you'll have to hang on until it's back.

Thanks, but pls let someone fix the duplicated bugs ASAP, I had already reported a lot, but none be responsed, one Taiwan Cartoon I want add data, but have a duplicated one, so I don't know edit which one. and the others all the actor/actress's durplicated data. As a senior Chinese movie fans, I am really hope TMDB will became the most accurate movie data site for information, at least I can guarantee the accuracy of Chinese/Hong Kong/Taiwan's Movie/actor/actress/stuff's data.
Thanks, again!

When merging duplicates, we always try to keep the older record (i.e. the record with the lower TMDB ID), except when the newer record has significantly more user votes or reviews (in which case we consider whether to keep the newer record as an exception).

I'm currently adding a lot of Japanese data to crew profiles and came across some of your edits @bensonxu . Thanks for adding lots of Chinese data👍. Just a few things to note:
I think that's about it. Mods/Travis, if I am saying anything wrong, please correct me.
Post edited for duplicate points.

I've asked internally about this after seeing your original post. At this point in time, I'm not sure which one is correct, and waiting to see which direction Travis and co want to go.
This specific guideline was written before we had translated stage names. This is not true anymore. The main local stage name is used for each translation, and any alternative/misspelled names can be added as Alternative Names.

Surely it makes a lot more sense to use the person's most credited alias (exactly as credited, in whatever language that is)? It will make contributing far easier and inform those viewing a profile how they are credited.
If it's decided to go the other way, the "Stage Name" label should be replaced with something else. I think doing that would render that field basically useless, though.
This follows what I said about adjusting the contribution bible because in its current wording, the list would be unnecessarily long. I didn't want to overcomplicate my point (which I now realise I pointed out twice—removed the duplicate point to avoid further confusion). The point being that Hanja shouldn't be deleted from the list when it's not the primary translation (if there's a Hanja name, it means they've been credited this way in something). It still counts as what you said, an 'alternative/misspelled name'. For someone contributing, say, in English, it might be an issue because the Hanja won't be easily viewable if it's not selected as the primary translation and not in the list.
