Biography

Jordan Myrie has played some major roles in a number of high profile TV dramas over the last few years. This includes a featured role in the third series of Netflix's romantic regency drama Bridgerton, released in 2024, in which he plays gentleman of the ton Lord Stanton, a close friend and confidante of lead character Colin Bridgerton. Also in 2024 he was seen in the second series of BBC One drama series 'Sherwood', playing Marcus Clarke. In 2023 he starred in ‘The Strays’, a Netflix Original film about a privileged biracial woman whose carefully crafted life starts to unravel when two strangers, Carl and Dione, turn up in her suburban town. Jorden played Carl, opposite Bukky Bakray who played Dione. In 2022 he played Kobi in the award-winning BBC Three drama ‘Mood’. The limited series told the story of a wannabe singer who has to navigate the world of social media and the fine line between liberation and exploitation. The series won an RTS Award for Best Limited Series and was nominated for 3 TV BAFTAs. In the same year, he had a major part in all 6 episodes of Channel 4’s darkly comic prison drama ‘Screw’, playing gatekeeping guard Raheem Bennett.

Jorden was born in Bolton and raised in Derby in the East Midlands.
