Got to say I'd agree with this recent retrospective on this film:-

Definitely a bit overlooked at the time - nice parody of the sheer daftness of the world of competitive figure skating; one of Will Ferrell's funniest characters in Chazz Michael Michaels; and the iron lotus gone wrong makes me laugh every time...
