Discuss Little Women

Note: This is more of a comparison than a review. This Youtube comment pretty much sums up my view. (Too lazy to write.) "...Florence Pugh is too old to be young Amy. Emma Watson’s performance in my opinion is flat. Laura’s marmie is sort of weak compared to Susan’s firm yet kind marmie. I think Christian and Timothée both do a good job with what they’re given..." To add, I'd say, although, Florence is too old she did a pretty good performance. Trina Alvarado's performance is way much better than Emma and so is Saoirse Ronan's over Winona Ryder. And even though, I'm a big Christian Bale fan, Timothée is better and more fitting to the role. So basically, 1994 has more accurate casting but 2019 has better acting.
But what really made me like 2019 better is the attention to detail. The foreshadowings and the planting of details early on to sow later just adds to the betterment of the film. It made the movie more cohesive (I don't know if it's the accurate term) and that's why it's way, way better.
