This is one of those rare occasions where Part 2 beats the original. It was slightly cheaper to make yet feels more cinematic - perhaps because of the more varied locations and impressive cameos. It seems to have more confidence in itself and the quality of the gags, which come faster, are better.
I'll be buying this on blu-ray. The first one? Not so much.

I prefer this one too. It had some solid gags and consistent humor, while the first felt more...I don't know...grade-schoolish. Plus it had Valeria Golino AND Brenda Bakke...Major improvement.

I bought the set a few years ago at Target for $7.00. Love both of them.

I prefer this one, probably because I like the Rambo series a lot more than Top Gun.
