Discuss Æon Flux

I really enjoyed this action flick. It had no shaky cam, great stunts and fight sequences, and what I found to be a fairly compelling story (although unoriginal, but what story is these days). Plus having Charlize Theron in a skin-tight body suit doesn't hurt either! It holds up pretty well after 10+ years for me.

I liked the movie, but I prefer the animation series that it was based on.

I liked it, but with a RT score of 9% (and an audience rating of 39%) with a Cinemascore of B-, I don't think you'll find many other fans of it out there.

I always liked this film despite the severe reaming it's gotten from critics. Sure it took a dump all over the original animation, but it had a style & presentation of its own. I dug the plot, the moral ambiguity of the good/bad characters and the cool "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" esque lovestory under the surface, not to mention the dark soundtrack by Graeme Revell (The Crow, Until the End of the World). It's probably my fave of the early 2000s badass chix in vinyl

To be brief: The same here, but only by a hair... the black presence in it I found to be cool when I saw it in the theatre, indeed, the African presence, period, was agreeable! As for the animated series, watching those stylized figures might still make me think that people were taking hard drugs at their computers!! Lastly, I will never forget that fly trapped in Flux's eyelash.
