"The movie was cheesy with a lot of 'bad', corny humour, which made me shake my head a lot, but still I had to chuckle, giggle and even laugh sometimes. The story was straightforward and entertaining; there was nothing meaningful to think about, no contemporary issues to consider, just being slightly amused by the brain of Shecky - a moronic stand-up comic - in Herman's head."
"Sometimes I felt like being at a Halloween party, with bright vibrant colours and delirious cosplayers performing a sketch."
"I wasn't too disappointed after watching the movie, as I already expected that it could never be like the original television series. This 'passion' project by Rob Zombie was a brave attempt at doing something different, while staying true to the original show, which earned him a PG-rating, and a little round of applause for the enthusiasm of all the actors."
"It was not so much a fun ride, more like a fun 'bumpy' ride with B̶o̶z̶o̶ t̶h̶e̶ C̶l̶o̶w̶n̶ Herman throwing a bucket of ̶c̶o̶n̶f̶e̶t̶t̶i̶ soft ice cream in your face at the end. Love ice cream."
"Overall I enjoyed the silliness of it all, so I'll give it a 6 out of 10 stars for now. After a rewatch during Halloween, the score might go up or down."
