Will people seriously stop acting like Zack Snyder is the next Stanley Kubrick.

His movies are not deep or insightful. The man has the subtly of street hooker. His movie are filled with over the top melodrama and explosions. And in excessive amounts that f###ing boring and annoying. Hes basically the Pretentious Micheal Bay. Because Micheal Bay know hes making silly popcorn movies and dosn't act like hes making anything else. Zack Snyder on the other hand makes silly popcorn movies (that are not all that entertaining). And he acts like hes making the next F##king Citizen Kane. Hes not Stanley Kubrick or Alfred Hitchcock, Hell hes not even Christopher Nolan and i think Nolan is overrated. So Really give it a rest already.
P.s. As far as Snyder's Justice League, Its mostly the same movie, just longer and boring.

Really? Somebody actually thinks that? I am pretty sure they don't know who Kubrick was. They probably are also upset that Hentai cartoons don't get Oscars. I liked Watchmen. But the rest of his stuff falls between ~meh..~ and 'oh gawd that was awful'.

I actually think Luc Besson films are more akin to Kubrick in that they're not really appreciated when they are made, but garner a cult following and become films the future will praise as great art.

I have yet to see anyone comparing Snyder to Kubrick. You don't like him, I get it. But your rant feels like a lot of hyperbole meant to criticism anyone who likes his take on the DC Universe, of which I am one. His films aren't perfect, and most of us acknowledge that. If you think they're awful garbage... well, you're entitled to your opinion, but you're wrong. He definitely falls into the more stylistic side of things, but to claim his films are shallow and devoid of meaning, then you're also wrong. You need to stop conflating your dislike of something with it being bad. Now if you want a truly over-rated director who really is a more over-hyped version of Michael Bay, that would be JJ Abrams.

His movies are entertaining but they're always too CGI heavy. The man always seems to be able to assemble up an excellent cast for his films. With that said I enjoyed this version more than the 2017 version which I saw in the theater and thought was very "meh". Interested in his new zombie film coming out.

casting is pathetic. Some are ok, but the majority are awful. I also have nothing against Affleck as Batman. Not the best, but not the worst either. Eisenberg should not be in movies, he is awful. All the cast and characters for the Amazon Blunder women is awful. Flash is a bad joke, Superman has been made into something no longer recognise. Lois Lane is unlikeable. Cyborg, Alfred and Aquaman are ok.

I actually think Snyder's stuff sans the DC stuff is actually pretty good ( 300, Dawn of the Dead, Watchmen). He's not a good fit for the mainstream DC universe. That being said I did like his Justice League better than Whedon's.
