I thought Godzilla vs. Kong deserved that accolade by a wide margin until this turd came along. Good grief this movie really has zero redeeming qualities and even that 1/10 score is something it does not deserve. It's full of pointless and completely boring and uninteresting dialogue and exposition. This is only followed by what the makers thought vaguely resembled a "plot", which in reality is more like a bunch of random and again completely pointless and boring scenes thrown in together with some random techno babble. It's kind of like the random scene jumps seen in "Tenet", but done in an ever worse way, which is a feat in itself. Then there is the cast, which is an ensemble of some of the most punchable faces I imagine you can find in the whole industry. Unfortunately they also possess the charisma off a rock so you will not give a crap what happens to any of them, but you will give a crap about them getting off your screen ASAP. I'm not sure they could've find a more generic and boring Morpheus if they tried. Most of the time I forgot he was even in the movie the way he kept disappearing and re-appearing like like some unwanted rash that sporadically comes up to annoy you and remind you of its' existence. The same goes for that new Agent Smith. The fight scenes are another new low for a mainstream hollywood movie like this. Whoever is responsible for the fight scenes should be ashamed of him/herself. It's kind of like the sluggish and lethargic and embarrassingly crappy fight scenes seen in "Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)", but even worse. Most of it is people lethargically open palm slapping each other with the intensity and vigor of a geriatric on his deathbed. Pretty sure I saw Neo and Trinity pimp slap a couple of those thugs and actually had to rewind to see if that was really added in these 'fight scenes'. I should also mention that the whole production has a general B-movie quality more akin to the bottom of the barrel stuff Bruce Willis, for example, has been putting out and does not really resemble something that is a sequel to a widely successful movie/franchise. Everything just seems cheap and lazily put together.

Why are you grumbling???? ........ Haven't we learned from past experiences ...... Weren't Terminator Dark Fate, RoboCop, Carrie enough?????? ..... What WERE you expecting from this movie .......
Talk about Godzilla VS Kong..... Declaring Adam Wingard as the Director would only result in Clowns convincing themselves to be prepared for a Big Show.....
I'm sure you like Avengers Endgame....

Speaking of the worst movie of 2021, and since this forum unfortunately does not have a general discussions section where I could post this, I would like to hear what do people on this forum think was the worst movie of 2021. My own personal lowlights were:
Bond: No time to die
Matrix Resurrections
Godzilla vs. Kong
Ghostbusters Afterlife
Escape Room Tournament of Champions
The Green Knight
Old
Even though it is kind of hard to pick one "winner" from that shameful list I would still have to say Matrix Resurrections takes the cake and pretty much hated every single minute of it, but the rest aren't too far behind. So what do you guys think and what are your "favourites"?

To each their own, and while it is difficult to be worse than the Matrix resurrections or Green knight, this latest Bond crapfest wasn't all that far, and I disliked almost everything about it. I also noticed I left out 'Old' from that list and perhaps 'Free guy' also deserves to be there as well as anything Bruce Willis put out, but he has a league of his own. Come to think of it 2021 was probably the worst year for movies in my life time - never before do I remember so many utterly terrible high budget movies being released in the same year.
