这是一部超越时空、SF漫画的上乘之作，也是星野之宣的代表作之一。作者以经典级科幻片《2001年太空漫游》为蓝本，用史诗式、流畅的笔触来描绘，阐述人类开拓宇宙新天地的意念。对于在新天地的人类，其思想、精神及心灵的净化都有一种新的註解。星野之宣的作品预言的味道十分浓厚，在科幻的结构下，常常引出令人深思的剧情，除了表达对人的关怀外，也表现出对自然的崇敬。在人类不断开发创造的同时，事实上也不断地毁灭抹杀。而最终，当人自己以旁观者的角度去探讨的时候，却发现自己制造的似乎好像都是悲剧，而最可悲的，是自己还无法从中认清，而陷入不断的轮迴中，着实发人深省。

In the year 2058, mankind is about to take its first leap into the distant reaches of space. Using the resources at the tail end of a comet, massive spaceships will be sent to the corners of the universe in an attempt to colonize other worlds, but due to the length of time it will take to arrive at even the closest solar system, the comets must be destroyed in-flight, resulting in super-fast speeds that will kill any life onboard; only frozen sperm and eggs, and machines will survive the journey. Carrying the unborn children of the Robinsons, the first of these ships must now set forth to Ozma; and with its precious cargo is coupled the hopes and fears of all humanity.

Im Jahre 2085 reist ein Raumschiff in Richtung des Planeten Ozma - an Bord die Embryos der Familie Robinson. Über die Jahre erblüht eine Gesellschaft an Bord des Schiffs, die 375 Jahre später Ozma erreicht und mit den Siedlungsarbeiten beginnt.

Anno 2001: La Terra inizia la sua espansione verso lo spazio, e per poter portare la vita umana negli angoli piu' remoti, viene organizzata una missione incredibile. Una navicella verra' agganciata ad una cometa, dalla quale prelevera' le risorse necessarie per l'energia ed il sostentamento della vita congelata che vi trovera' posto. Le conquiste della tecnologia pero' permetteranno altre meraviglie, come salti iperspaziali e processi di terraforming, per permettere la vita al di fuori della Terra. Una nuova missione viene intrapresa: rendere un pianeta inabitato il nuovo Eden. Un OAV in tre parti, legate fra loro, che descrive una possibile soluzione alla voglia dell'uomo di portare il suo seme negli angoli piu' remoti dello spazio. Imperdibile per gli appassionati di fantascienza, in special modo per chi ha apprezzato il mitico "2001: A space Odissey" di Kubrik.

Llevando a los niños por nacer de los Robinson, el primero de estos barcos debe partir ahora hacia Ozma; y con su precioso cargamento se unen las esperanzas y temores de toda la humanidad.
