jump with bended legs? try to make a rope out of jackets? or try to make rope/ladder out of people, that could roughly make it 6m shorter if they would be able to hold each other, which could help a lot
climb on wire like the 2nd guy did but using two pairs of gloves? I think using snowboard or ski to slide would be way too dangerous, not being to able to stop immediately, not so accurate
and all of this assuming there are no wolves, would they really attack people or it's just a movie thing for dramatization?

I thought of the human ladder idea too. Even if it didn't reach all the way to the ground, at least the person at the very bottom would have had a shorter drop.
I also wonder if jumping to the ground with your legs tucked in would have been safer, like clasping your legs to your chest and making your body a ball. The way he jumped seemed to guarantee an injury.
I asked my bf about the wolves and he said it was very likely they would have attacked a human, especially one who was injured/bleeding.
I honestly don't know what I would have done in this situation.

Jumping from that height is a bad idea, but if you think that's the move, try leaning forward with bended knees. If you can swing and propel yourselves towards the trees, that'd be ideal, but at least try to be further from the packed snow of the ski run itself, the edges will have deeper less-packed snow.
Agree. They should have done that first, early, while they were still relatively warm and hadn't started losing their flexiblity. But, don't over-estimate your ability to hold your entire body wait with one or even both hands - most people can't for too long, even in ideal circumstances. Instead, I'd throw my legs up over the cable as well, shimy along with the cable under the back of my knees, our legs are much bigger, and we can hang upside to rest with no fear of losing our grip and falling.
Also, stick together. Either all wait for help, or all shimmy - if they're athletic enough to be skiing/snowboarding, they can shimmy. Each time you separate and something happens to one of you, you've just exponentially increased the complexity and number of problems you've got to solve, and you're not able to work together to solve them.
As for wolves, I think you're right, this was a movie thing, they are not at all the bloodthirsty killers we portray them to be...as long as you weren't yet bleeding, and it's an area where their choice diet of deer is plentiful, it's highly unlikely you'd even see them. I have actually scared wild wolves off a kill just by walking towards them (I have video of the situation, it was once-in-a-lifetime for sure). Again, if the three of them stuck together, did the shimmy correctly, and got down the tower together without cutting themselves, they'd likely have had no issues with wolves at all but could mount a legitimate defense if they did come in too close with the ski poles.
